Cloudax has partnered with Avoira to accelerate enterprise adoption of voice AI, pairing 50 years of UK telecoms heritage with the fastest, most realistic conversational AI on the market.

Bringing voice AI to the enterprise

Cloudax today announced a strategic partnership with Avoira, one of the UK's most established communications businesses, to bring best-in-class voice AI to enterprise customers and accelerate adoption of an emerging category of technology.

Avoira brings five decades in telecoms, the largest speech-analytics deployment in the country, and an enterprise customer base that spans regulated industries. Cloudax brings the voice AI platform behind some of the UK's most demanding contact-centre operations. Together, the two companies will deploy voice agents and automations that take enterprises on a true journey of transformation.

“We aren't just answering simple FAQs. We are completing end-to-end customer journeys. This is the beginning of the next big shift in tech: Value as a Service.”

50 years of telecoms, 80 million calls of insight

Avoira has spent half a century building communications infrastructure for British business, and today operates the largest speech-analytics deployment in the country. The team has analysed more than 80 million calls and built deep expertise around the conversational details that matter most to regulated industries: FCA Consumer Duty obligations, vulnerability identification, and the precise language that signals an upsell opportunity.

That domain knowledge has, until now, been used to coach and measure human agents. The partnership with Cloudax brings the same expertise to the design of AI agents, agents that can detect vulnerability, surface a relevant product, or honour a regulatory cue with the same fluency a senior human operator would.

    Why Cloudax

Avoira's leadership ran a structured evaluation of the voice AI market before choosing a partner. Cloudax was selected on four factors (the things that determine whether voice AI survives a real deployment, not just a demo).

    • Latency.Sub-second turn-taking that holds up at production scale: the difference between a conversation and a queue.
    • Realism.Voices already 95% across the uncanny valley, on a trajectory to indistinguishable from human in the coming months.
    • Speed of execution. From design to deployed agent in weeks. Avoira's team is already trained on Cloudax Connect.
    • Production-ready.Human-grade AI agents that drop into existing workflows, built for regulated industries, not demos.
“Our voice AI is crossing the uncanny valley; we're already 95% of the way there. In a few months, synthetic conversations will be indistinguishable from human conversation.”

    Insurance first, then beyond

The partnership pairs Avoira's regulated-industry domain knowledge with Cloudax's voice AI platform to deploy agents that complete real customer journeys end-to-end. Initial use-cases are taking shape inside insurance, with a wider roadmap across financial services and customer operations to follow.

“Their team are already trained on our platform Cloudax Connect and the use cases they are creating are incredible, specifically within insurance, where they are SMEs. We can't wait to see how this strong partnership evolves.”
